TaTa’s Tapas is a brand new Pop-up food stall (which you’ll find based at Spectrum 6 once a month) offering authentic Spanish/Canarian homemade food. The menu is filled with delicious traditional family recipes including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. (Think Paella’s, Tortilla’s and Nachos!)

The business is ran by Husband and Wife; Ramon and Anne. Ramon always had a dream to cook for a living – the inspiration behind their food comes from Ramon’s mother, Petra who was an amazing cook. Petra was originally from Madrid but moved to Gran Canaria when she fell in love with Ramon’s farther – this is where she began to combine Spanish cuisine with traditional Canarian food.

Tata’s Tapas first launched in September 2017 and they now share their food in local market’s and festivals all over the North East! You’ll find them at Tynemouth Market every Sunday.

The business is also proud to have a 5 star hygiene rating and Level 2 award in Food Safety.
