19 Jul Businesses Continue to thrive in Seaham | Network with Your Neighbour

Earlier this week local businesses, including tenants of Spectrum Business Park, shared their stories of growth and expansion at our monthly Seaham Business Group Meeting.

Over 30 local businesses joined us at the stunning Seaham Hall for our monthly ‘Network with Your Neighbour’ event to share their success, growth and of course to connect with one another. Among the companies who shared their success Great Annual Savings (based here at Spectrum Business Park) announced their plan to increase their headcount from 200 – 300 over the next 12 months. 

Other businesses in attendance included Shred Direct, Steadfast Group, GEM Training, Durham University, East Durham Business Service, North Star Ventures, Andrew James Worldwide and Charltons.

Paul Wellstead, developer of Spectrum Business Park in Seaham, is the new co-chairman of the business group. He said: “It was clear from the updates given by attendees that so many of our businesses are growing.

“There are companies that are recruiting, expanding and winning new contracts which is fantastic for our area, and really enhances the feeling of positivity which is evident throughout our business community.”
