11 May Event: Business Funding & Support | 19th June

Due to the fantastic success of Business Durham’s funding event in June last year, they’ve decided to host it again!  Peterlee Business Park (a short drive from Spectrum Business Park) will be hosting a Business Funding & Support Carousel on Tuesday 19^th June 2018 from 8.30am-12pm at Gemini Buildings, Brackenhill Business Park, Peterlee, SR8 2RS.  

Businesses from across the Seaham and Peterlee Business Park areas, as well as other business communities across County Durham and beyond, will be invited to meet with providers of the main types of funding and business support available within the County Durham region.

This free funding and business support event is aimed to appeal to micro, small and medium sized businesses, as well as individuals looking to start up in business in County Durham.  The event will highlight the array of grants and loans available, as well as business support schemes.   This was an extremely popular event last year and attracted over 80 delegates, so don’t delay, ensure you register your attendance below, by clicking on the link at the bottom of this email.

For those of you who weren’t able to attend last year, please find below a description of the format of the event:-

This is like ‘speed dating’ but with a business support spin.

On arrival delegates will be given a group number.  Each delegate group will be assigned a starting point with a business support exhibitor.  The business support exhibitor will provide the delegate group with a 3 minute targeted pitch, describing their enhanced County Durham business support offer.  Every 3 minutes, the groups will be alerted to move on to the next exhibitor and so on, until each group has visited all exhibiting business support organisations.  Following this businesses can network with the exhibitors that appeal to them most.
