Spectrum Business Park is thrilled to welcome Seaham Safety Services to the park. SSS is one of the UK’s leading Health and Safety Training providers in the construction and manufacturing industries. SSS offer a range of services from NVQ training in the workplace, bespoke training for company specific needs to health and safety signage.

As we dug a little deeper, we started to see that this humble, family run business is aiming to offer so much more.
Gordon Macpherson, a Director in the business, is preparing to launch a brand new system, Moralbox, which he says will be ‘an absolute game changer for how the construction and manufacturing industries are run, and in fact he plans to get a wider range of industries on board too’.
Moralbox is a cloud based system, initially designed for the construction and manufacturing sector, whereby users can access and update all of their training certifications online and keep track of valid, expiring and expired training so companies and individuals can plan refresher training and carry out online training. The construction industry is famously known for the challenges involved in presenting original documentation before work can begin and storing it in an accessible or shared space for future reference. With Moralbox, this can now all be managed online. It’s a great personnel tool.
Gordon goes on to say:
‘Moral box isn’t just about helping our clients; it’s going to revolutionise the way training providers operate. It will take all the hassle out of running your training. Employers, employees and contractors will all have their certificates available electronically on their laptop and smart phones!’
When SSS were looking to find a suitable office Space in the North East, it was important to find a space where the Directors could develop Moralbox as well as provide training services to their SSS clients. Gordon said it was quite challenging to find somewhere that suited their needs.
Gordon said:
‘As a director, I’ve so many things on my mind, especially as we’re developing Moralbox. I don’t have the time to worry about the phone bill, utilities and WiFi. It was a relief to find an office space where everything is included in the rent – and of course the beautiful views and location are just fantastic’
