Hear from Ben Gilhespy from County Durham Engineering and Manufacturing Network (CDEMN) for his take on Innovation and what it means for businesses. This will be followed by Elizabeth Shaw, Programme Manager for the North East Innovation Centre (NE-BIC) who will enlighten us about the upcoming Flexible Programme providing Innovation Support for County Durham Businesses. Richard Egginton from Peterlee based Sotech will give a overview of the support he has had supporting his Innovation Projects. This will be followed by an overview of the Innovate Durham Programme by Teesside University. Finally Elaine Scott, Business Durham Innovation Manager will provide further details on the other business support contacts and programmes available to businesses in the County.
